Teknologiakiinteistö-
jen tarina

Teknologiakiinteistöt was founded in 2010 out of a need to develop Turun Tiedepuisto. The appeal of the premises in the area had declined, and rents were stagnant. Ownership was divided among several parties competing for the same customers, with no desire to invest in developing the properties.

Where did it all begin?

One of the area's major owners, the City of Turku, led by Teknologiakiinteistöt's current CEO Mikko Lehtinen, saw the potential of the dormant area. Thus, it was decided to consolidate property ownership into one company that began investing not only in the spaces but in the development of the entire district. This is how Turun Teknologiakiinteistöt was born, with the goal of making Turun Tiedepuisto the most attractive environment in Finland for companies and communities.

Today, the company has over 300 customers and owns approximately 188,000 square meters of leasable area in the Tiedepuisto and Itäharju areas. Teknologiakiinteistöt employs over 40 people whose goal is to make working life even better.
