Jani Jeromaa serves as the CEO of the property companies, or more familiarly, as the property manager for properties owned by Teknologiakiinteistöt. Waste Management and Recycling

Teknologiakiinteistöt aims for a 100% recycling rate, and we strive to make the journey of waste from the office recycling bin to final processing as smooth as possible. Each property in Turku Science Park has its own waste collection point.

Currently, the following fractions are collected in Teknologiakiinteistöt buildings: energy waste, paper, cardboard, glass, metal, plastic, bio-waste, WEEE (electronic waste), fluorescent tubes, and batteries.

Waste sorting in the office

The prerequisite for efficient waste management is that waste is sorted correctly at the point of origin. It is the responsibility of all Teknologiakiinteistöt tenants to ensure that there are appropriate and sufficient waste bins in the office. We encourage all our customers to recycle effectively and, if necessary, we provide guidance on waste instructions and the labeling of waste bins.

Access Control

Are Oy is responsible for access control at Teknologiakiinteistöt premises. All tenants have a designated key person who has the right to order keys for the organization's employees. All requests related to keys and access cards should be sent electronically to avaimet(a)teknologiakiinteistot.fi. Keys are ready within three business days of the order, and access cards are activated within 48 hours.

Keys and access cards are picked up and returned to the BioCity lobby service on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. The person who placed the order is always notified by email when access cards are ready, and named keys are handed over upon presentation of an ID.

Security

Security and order at Turun Teknologiakiinteistöt premises are managed by the security company Avarn Security. The security service can be reached 24/7 at the duty number 010 620 2000. For emergencies, there is a rescue plan for every property, which contains instructions for dangerous situations and property-specific assembly points.
