A head start on the May Day celebrations was taken at the Joki visitor centre already on Friday, April 26th, when the business community gathered in the Joki lobby. In addition to special coffees from the Turku Kahvilla coffee moped, there were fresh, delicious ring doughnuts.
The event was attended by 300 people, and the Joki lobby was filled with chatter and happy people. SHIFT, which will be held at the end of May, was also featured prominently, and in the Joki Showroom, guests were able to get a preview of the event atmosphere on the large LED screen.
Joki's Community Manager and SHIFT CEO Carita Varjonen asked how the guests were doing and gave some good tips for the upcoming event.
“It is so great to see so many people on a Friday afternoon! That is exactly what the Joki coffee events are for: meeting others working in the area in a relaxed setting and perhaps making new acquaintances,” praised Carita Varjonen.
Next up at the Science Park is SHIFT Business Festival on May 29th–30th. The Joki business community will gather again in August.
