Turun Teknologiakiinteistöt was ranked the third best in Finland in a national customer satisfaction survey – the company's most satisfied customers can once again be found in ElectroCity.
In autumn 2022, Turun Teknologiakiinteistöt participated for the tenth time in a customer satisfaction survey conducted by KTI Kiinteistötieto. The survey examined the satisfaction of premises customers with their landlords among 22 real estate investment companies. 148 of Turun Teknologiakiinteistöt's customers responded to the survey.
Overall satisfaction rose to an excellent level
Overall customer satisfaction with Turun Teknologiakiinteistöt's operations rose from 3.99 last year to 4.03 on a scale of 1–5, which was the third best result in the entire data set. Turun Teknologiakiinteistöt's customers were most satisfied with the tenancy relationship, which received a score of 4.13, while the average for the benchmark material was 3.95. The company's maintenance services received the best result in the comparison, 3.97, with the average for the entire survey being 3.79. Respondents gave Turun Teknologiakiinteistöt's premises a score of 3.96, placing the company just above the average for the benchmark material.
Turun Teknologiakiinteistöt's most satisfied customers were found in ElectroCity, where the average overall satisfaction was 4.11. Respondents from TriviumCity and PharmaCity also gave high scores for overall satisfaction, 4.10 and 4.07.
93 percent of respondents would recommend Turun Teknologiakiinteistöt.
– Year after year, Turun Teknologiakiinteistöt's most satisfied customers are found in ElectroCity, which is largely explained by the fact that many of the ElectroCity respondents work in Werstas, where services from cleaning to coffee and internet are included in the rent. On the other hand, it is also interesting that customer satisfaction with the premises is not directly related to how new the building is; one can be satisfied with both a brand-new and an older office space, clarifies Annika Pakula, Customer Account Manager at Turun Teknologiakiinteistöt.
The share of promoters increased from last year
54 percent of respondents would actively recommend Turun Teknologiakiinteistöt, compared to 44 percent in the benchmark material. 39 percent of respondents would passively recommend the company. Seven percent of respondents had a critical attitude toward the company.
The Net Promoter Score, a figure where the percentage of critical respondents is subtracted from the percentage of active promoters, also increased among Turun Teknologiakiinteistöt's respondents from 47 last year to 48. The average Net Promoter Score in the benchmark material was 34.
– The rise of the recommendation index from an already very high 47 to 48 is of course a great thing! However, there is always room for improvement, and we are constantly striving to develop our operations and better meet our customers' needs. We are also happy to hear feedback outside of customer satisfaction surveys, so please feel free to contact us whenever you feel like it, says Tinet Santalahti, Customer Account Manager at Turun Teknologiakiinteistöt.
Space requirements remain unchanged
The survey also asked respondents to estimate how their space requirements would change over the next two years. 10 percent of Turun Teknologiakiinteistöt's customers estimated that their need would grow significantly, a quarter believed that the need would grow somewhat, 47 percent saw their needs remaining the same, and 15 percent estimated that their space requirements would decrease either somewhat or significantly. The figures were almost identical to the 2021 figures, with only the group whose needs remain unchanged increasing by one percent.
Turun Teknologiakiinteistöt's customers emphasized sustainability issues slightly less than the respondents in the benchmark material. A third of Turun Teknologiakiinteistöt's respondents considered them very important, 39 percent important, and 17 percent quite important, whereas in the benchmark material the figures were 38, 39, and 14 percent. On the other hand, Turun Teknologiakiinteistöt's customers were more satisfied with the company's sustainability than the respondents in the benchmark material; as many as 82 percent were satisfied with the company's sustainability efforts, compared to 69 percent of respondents in the benchmark material.
– The results of the survey were overall really good. There are always small pain points, of course, which is perfectly natural and keeps the mind sharp when there is also something to develop. It is a good starting point for the new year 2023, conclude Pakula and Santalahti.
