The traditional Sporttia parhaalla paikalla event kicked off the post-summer event season for Teknologiakiinteistöt. Pre-match events have been organized for ten years in collaboration with Turku sports clubs, and they continue to attract full audiences, as this time there were over 120 participants at Joki Visitor and Innovation Centre.
The evening's match was the Ykkönen football match between TPS and JJK (Jyväskylä). First, we heard from TPS Football CEO Janne Kytölä and coach Jesse Saarinen about their thoughts on the match and the team's current affairs. In addition to Teknologiakiinteistöt's Community Manager Carita Varjonen, the audience also had the opportunity to ask questions regarding, among other things, the team's training, recovery, and workload monitoring.
When Kytölä and Saarinen headed to Veritas Stadion to prepare for the evening's game, the next person on stage was Selja Leiwo, a player from the TPS women's representative team, to share updates on the women's team. After Leiwo, Executive Director Kim Ekroos came to share the latest news and future goals for TPS junior football.
After the speeches, we enjoyed juicy burgers from Ravintola Mauno, and after the meal, we headed to the stadium for the evening's match.
In the rainy evening at Veritas Stadion, we saw a match dominated by TPS. JJK couldn't get their attacking game working, and the match ended in a 2–0 victory for the home team. The goalscorers were team veterans Kasperi Hämäläinen and Riku Riski.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the event! You can see more photos on Teknologiakiinteistöt's Facebook page.
