Joki is a meeting and event centre where you can host everything from virtual events to seminars and evening celebrations. The offering includes a wide range of meeting rooms, auditoriums and exhibition spaces, and the atmosphere can be easily adapted from formal to relaxed, or from everyday to festive.
Joki also serves as a shared visitor centre for companies in the Turku region, offering its partners the opportunity to showcase their activities and expertise.
Showroom
The Showroom at the Joki Visitor Centre is an immersive and visually striking presentation space where audiences are drawn into the experience through a large LED wall and high‑quality sound system. The LED wall enables event organisers to connect audiences from around the world as part of the event.
The Showroom offers Joki’s partners unprecedented opportunities to showcase their activities and host events. Partners can produce video content for the Showroom that is visible to everyone moving through Turku Science Park. The space is open to visitors whenever no events are taking place.
Turku Futurescapes
On the second floor of Joki, you’ll find the Turku Futurescapes urban development space, where Joki’s guests can explore the development visions of the City of Turku and the surrounding region. The exhibition presents various projects and future concepts using real‑world implementations, touch screens and video content, also offering perspectives on the City of Turku’s Smart & Wise City theme. Visitors can also experience a bird’s‑eye view of Turku through VR glasses, providing a unique and immersive way to discover the city’s future development.
Partner Expo
In the temporary exhibition space, Joki’s partners can showcase their activities by creating a short‑term, exhibition‑style display. The space includes a presentation screen, table space and a seating area. The content of the exhibition and the duration of the display period can be planned together to best suit the partner’s needs.
