In the spring, companies compile their financial indicators, and many also create a separate sustainability report. We help our customers with energy data calculations for sustainability reporting, and we have compiled the consumption data for each property on its own web page. On the page, you will find the total consumption of electricity, district heating, and water, as well as consumption per square meter.

Electricity and district heating
All our properties use certified wind power. Regarding district heating, we are currently transitioning towards heat produced from renewable energy sources, and already 87 percent of the district heating is produced with renewable energy. In spaces with cooling systems, we use Turku Energia's emission-free district cooling.
Let's save electricity together
As the last few years have shown, energy availability is not a given. To prevent similar crises in the future, or at least be well-prepared for them, we all need to do our part. As a property owner, Turun Teknologiakiinteistöt aims to reduce electricity consumption by investing in modern building technology, scheduling heating, and investing in technology that consumes less. We are prepared for momentary power outages with backup power generators.
Towards a carbon-neutral Turku
We are participating in the City of Turku's goal to be carbon-neutral by 2029, and for this, we also need your help. We appeal to all users of our spaces to pay attention to energy consumption in your own operations. Do you have any energy-guzzling old equipment?
