The cleaning services partner for Teknologiakiinteistöt will change on March 1, 2026. The new provider of cleaning services is Coor.
Coor replaces N-Clean, which previously cleaned the Teknologiakiinteistöt premises, as the provider of cleaning services. In the future, Coor will take care of the cleanliness of the common areas of buildings owned by Teknologiakiinteistöt and the Werstas locations. In addition, the company will clean the premises of those Teknologiakiinteistöt customers whose service agreements include cleaning.
The change does not require any action from customers who purchase cleaning services from Teknologiakiinteistöt, and customer contact persons have been informed in advance.
Cleaning robots as the cleaner's working partner
Coor utilizes cleaning robots when cleaning Turun Teknologiakiinteistöt's premises. Cleaning robots generally work as a pair with a cleaner. For example, when a robot is vacuuming Werstas hallways, the cleaner takes care of cleaning the office rooms and restrooms at the same time.
Initially, the robots will be introduced in BioCity, DataCity, ElectroCity, EduCity, ICT-City, and Joki. The robots will mainly clean lobbies, hallways, and other common areas of the buildings. In the future, the use of cleaning robots will be expanded, with the goal of also utilizing robots in the premises of tenants who have given their consent.
The robots used have gone through Coor's approval process, which verifies the level of information security of the robots and their manufacturers and ensures compliance with requirements such as GDPR. The cleaning robots do not record or transmit sound or video, and the robot cannot identify people nearby. However, the robot detects people moving around it as well as other obstacles and is able to navigate around them.
