Did you know that Teknologiakiinteistöt organises weekly Science Park training sessions for its customers? Watch the video at the bottom of the page, where eight of our customers talk about what the training is like and why it is worth attending.
Exercise has been a part of Turku Science Park through the Science Park training sessions organised by Teknologiakiinteistöt since 2020. The purpose of the training is to improve the well-being of our customers and offer an opportunity to meet other people working in the Science Park area.
The training sessions are free of charge and open to everyone working in Teknologiakiinteistöt's premises. The types of training range from TRIP indoor cycling to muscle toning and sound bowl relaxation. Variety is indeed one of the many reasons why people attend.
“Here I get to test sports that I wouldn’t otherwise try,” says Aino Ukkola from Business Turku in the video.
The training sessions are led by instructors from M&M Kuntotalo and are held at M&M Kuntotalo's premises on Lemminkäisenkatu or in Kupittaa Park during the summer.
"The best thing about the workouts is being able to come here immediately after the workday. They give me so much energy and it's great to try out different classes," says Anna Ekblad from Reagena.
You can join the training sessions regardless of how much you have exercised recently. Exercising improves your well-being and helps you stay more energetic at work, as Danila Vochev from Uniogen says.
“There are people of many different skill levels here, and you can get used to it at your own pace. According to your own limits, and little by little, your fitness starts to improve,” concludes Jukka Palomäki from Alten in the video.
To ensure that as many Teknologiakiinteistöt customers as possible can participate in the Science Park training sessions, they will be held twice a week starting from January 2024. You will receive invitations to the training sessions by subscribing to the property newsletters for your workplace building via your work email (note! the email address must be your work email so that we can verify your right to participate in the training).
